RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CARE OF THE PRODUCT
Dishes made of red clay can be used in ovens and microwave ovens.
Do not use them on open fire!
Clay does not like sharp temperature contrasts. To avoid cracking, it isimportant to put clay pots in a cool oven and then turn it on.
Do not place hot clay pots directly on cool surfaces, it is best to use awooden trivet.
Do not leave food residues in clayware to avoid smell absorption.Preferably use your pots for one ‘specialization’ – meats, vegetables,fish, etc.
Wash by hand with a soapy solution using a soft sponge only. Do not usemetal scrubbing pads, washcloths, brushes or abrasive detergents. Do notwash in the dishwasher to avoid discoloration.
Clay likes dryness. It is best to wipe dry your clayware after washing it.To remove residue moisture, you may like to place your clean pieces in awarm oven, at 160C (320F) for 20-30 minutes, or in the microwave.
