Electroforming is a very time intensive process which produces amazingly unique yet unpredictable results. Every piece of electroformed jewelry will have its own beautiful imperfections that make it truly one of a kind!
Ready items are then buffed, polished and sealed with a protective lacquer to maximize luster, keep the bright and clean copper look, and prevent potential tarnishing and skin discoloration that can occur on some people who wear copper jewelry. This sealing layer also protects the patina from wearing off.

Please note, we seal these tiny wonders to hold the beautiful coppery luster but the sealant won't last forever, so please take care with your precious jewels and avoid pools, spas, excessive lotions, perfumes, and the like that might break it down quicker. Basically treat it with the same care as you would with all your fine jewelry.
When sealant wears off the copper may tarnish over time. In that case please use a jewelry polishing cloth or soft cloth to get the shine back.
Take jewelry off before getting into shower or body of water.
Please take off your copper rings before sanitizing your hands with any spirits/ethyl/ether/solvent based soap or solution. Any of these things readily dissolve protective layer of sealant and might damage the ring or stone.
