K1800VS1 - Ultra Rare USSR Soviet Russian IC - Programmable 16-Bit Shifter Function, ECL, 36 Mhz, 8-bit - Clone of Motorola MC10800
MADE IN USSR (Venta factory - Lithuania exUSSR, Vilnus, 1990) for military computers and its components.

This IC is a four-bit arithmetic logic unit (ALU). It is a central processing unit and is designed to perform arithmetic,
logical and shift operations with combinations of one, two or three variable data.
The multiplication and division operations are performed using the corresponding instruction.
The ALU implements operations on binary-coded decimal numbers.
The IC provides internal generation of parity results (pin 10) and carry (pin 2) signals for error control,
and also generates overflow sign (pin 6), sign (pin 9), zero check (pin 11) and carry signals (pins 5, 4, 3).
LSI contains 1705 integral elements. Body type 2207.48-1, weight no more than 5 g.

The K1800, KR1800, KS1800 series are functionally complete sectional microprocessor kit,
which is distinguished by a bus organization, internal registers, a shifter circuit and translators
that ensure joint operation with TTL microcircuits and field-effect transistors.
These features, as well as microprogramming and the ability to increase the bit depth,
make it possible to design processors with different word lengths and instruction sets.
Sectional microprocessors (CPU-BSP, bit-slice processors) implement only the arithmetic and
logical functions of the central processor (they do not have a control unit).

The K1800 kit is designed to create mini-computers, specialized high-performance processors,
measuring devices for time-of-flight mass spectrometers for processing information up to 400 Mb/s;
processing the image coming from the sensor of the wave front of the laser beam,
and issuing control signals; digital filtering signal processing, telegraph communication switching with
clock frequency up to 30 MHz; measuring high-speed devices; signal processors in real time
and is designed to implement the structure of digital devices with an arbitrary command system.

The series K1800, KR1800, KS1800, made on the emitter-coupled logic (ESL), includes the following types:
K1800VA4 - bidirectional level converter (4-bit translator);
K1800VA7 - bidirectional level transceiver (5-bit translator);
K1800VB2 - synchronization device;
K1800VZh5 - 16-bit error detection and correction circuit;
K1800VR1 - 8-bit multiplier;
K1800VR8 - multi-bit programmable shifter;
K1800VS1 - 4-bit arithmetic logic unit;
K1800VT3 - RAM control device;
K1800VU1 - microprogram control device;
K1800RP6 - two-address buffer memory (stack);
