The main component of the lantern are Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads of two colors (±1900 beads). You will also need some size 10/0 or 11/0 round seed beads - this is a great project to upcycle some round beads from your stash. The mini LED light needed for this project can be purchased on both Amazon and Ebay.

Are these beaded lanterns difficult to make? Well, the hardest part is tension control. If you are familiar with peyote beading and you can switch between loose tension and tight one, you’ll be able to finish these in a couple of days. It can be challenging, but on the other hand, it’s a learning opportunity to master your tension.
