The Icon of Virgins: different images are different states of the Mother of God

In fact, every icon of the Mother of God is associated with one or another of Her phenomena to the human race. And depending on the conditions in which and how the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to man, similar nuances are reflected on Her icons. That is why the icons of the Mother of God are called "Pochaevskaya", "Vladimirskaya", etc.
