The first progress in porcelain production at the end of the 18th century determined destiny of the Gzhel region which presented subsequently to Russia a dynasty of the largest manufacturers Kuznetsov who glorified the Russian porcelain for the whole world. In the Old Belief Gzhel village of New Haritonovo in the first half of the 19th century the local specific peasant Yakov Vasilyevich Kuznetsov whose case was continued by his sons – Terenti and Anisim opened the first entity, and descendants expanded to scales of porcelain and faience monopoly of Russia. Since then, to be exact, since 1818 the porcelain plant in New Haritonovo conducts the history. Kuznetsov adjusted directly industrial - manufactory production of pottery, unlike other handicraft artels of Gzhel, having organized it absolutely in a new way. The business grasp and an oborotistost, family lines of Kuznetsov, allowed them to develop quickly business and to expand it far away from the Gzhel region. At the same time they never forgot the roots - in New Haritonovo since the end of the 19th century up to 1917 the "M. S. Kuznetsov's Partnerships" office, the Gzhel department was located. In the 50th years of the 19th century the plant took over from Kuznetsov to their relatives in the female line – brothers by Akulin and issued inexpensive porcelain services, caskets, sugar bowls, butterdishes, vases, jugs, toys for mass use.
