GM chessmen set made in USSR.
Circa 1970s.
White knights made of wood.
Heads of the black knights & kings/queens finials made of plastic.

! Chess pieces only. Chess table used as background only.

It is one of the good made exemplar of the soviet vintage grandmaster chess sets. You see good shaped figures, carved rooks, wooden white knights still. Such chess sets had been prodicing more primitively since 1980s with both plastic knights, with not carved rooks and bishops, the shapes of the figures were also simplified.

King is 10.9 cm., base is 4.2 cm.
Bishop is 8 cm., base is 3.3 cm.
Pawn is 5.6 cm., base is 3 cm.

Weight of the chess pieces set is 700 grams.

Damages: three bishops have not original balls (beads instead).
