- M1804VS2 - USSR Gold Ceramic clone of CPU-BSP AMD 2903 SP (48 pins, Military - Rhombus sign, scientific production association "Elektronika", 1992)


These are clones of Bit-Slice Processors Am2903ADC (AMD). 
AMD 2901 bit-slice processor family includes 2901 and 2903 4-bit microprocessors slices.
Enhanced version of 2901, AMD 2903 with addit. 16 ALU instructions.

1804 is the bit-slice microprocessor set. 
This set allowed organising of microprocessor systems with architecture, flexibility, 
and performance similar to minicomputers and even supercomputers. 
In general, they reflect features of KR588 but do not include a microprocessor as we know it. 
In the core of 1804 set is a 4-bit CPU (K, KM, KS, M)1804VS1 , an AMD 2901 clone, 
that can perform 8 arithmetical and logical operations. 
However this CPU can not choose commands from memory and can not work with system bus. 
1804VS1 chips can be combined to effectively form an 8-, 12-, or 16-bit CPU.

(K, KM, M, KS)1804VS1 communicates with memory through 4-bit memory controllers  
(K, KM, M, KS)1804VU1/2 and (K, KM, M, KS)1804VU3. 
Each of (K, KM, M, KS)1804VU1/2 includes software timer, 4-element stack, 
stack pointer and address register, programmable processor for accessing operands in memory. 
(K, KM, M, KS)1804VU3 chip calculates address of the next command by the code of the previous one and the state of CPU flags.
(K, KM, M, KS)1804 also includes a fast transition chip 1804VR1, a pair of which can make a 32-bit transition circuit.
