Once upon a time, I was very fond of certain varieties of green apples. Their fragrance in winter reminded me of summer.

But now, there are no more of these apples. Or rather, there is still this variety. But apples already have a completely different taste and aroma.

Probably, the variety has degenerated. It happens. I painted this picture in memory of these delicious apples.

But that's the first reason, and the second is it. Green is beneficial for both vision and well-being.

And if we, urban people, do not manage to go out into nature for a long time, then we begin to tire quickly, the mood deteriorates. Need a portion of "green sensations". And I also love all green; I gladly paint landscapes. But even in still life, you can lay green spots.

The idea with green apples came up just in time. And so that the eyes could rest from the bright colour, I diluted juicy greens of apples with old silver dishes and perfume bottles.
