Meet Silkie Sasparilla Thistledowm 🦋

Silkie is a sweet tempered female Brownie, or House Fairy.

She specializes in keeping your home tidy and cozy, and is extremely loyal to her chosen family.

(Silkie is  fond of pets and small children in particular ❤️)

When not busying  herself with the usual household chores  she also enjoys gardening, and small tasks such as  light sewing and mending.  

She posesses an excellent talent for finding the mate of a pair of socks that had gone missing in the dryer, and will always remember the “safe place” you put an item in (…and then lost it because you can’t  recall where that safe place is)

Silkie is created from Polymer clay over a wire armature so she is fully posable (including her ears— see photo!— and tail).

Her hat, apron and little boots are removeable, so are the mushrooms and flowers in her pockets.

She has a safety pin, a pocket watch and a tiny tea kettle hanging from her belt so she is prepared for any emergency 😆

Her hair is created from hand dyed  wool and silk. Her clothing is designed and created especially for her, and her face, hands and feet and ears are sculpted & handpainted ( I never use a mold so each of my Faerie beings are one of a kind ❤️)

She stands approx. 14” tall.
