I bought this as a gift idea for someone who is really into superheroes and building sets, and I can easily see why a project like this would be such a hit. There is a lot to assemble, plenty of visual detail, and the finished model gives you something impressive to keep afterward.

What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed the smaller details. I kept stopping during the build to look at different sections instead of rushing to finish. It feels more like creating a miniature superhero world than simply assembling a building.
