You can use any type of yarn in a corresponding color. The size of the hook depends on the yarn you choose.

This crochet toy pattern requires knowledge of some basic crochet terms:

You can make this cow with any size hook, depending on the type of yarn you’ve chosen.
I generally use a hook size 1 or 2 smaller than recommended on the yarn label.

Yarn Art Jeans (50 g/ 165 m), 55 % cotton, 45 % acrylic: colors for the orange cow –
orange (85), peach (73), beige (7); colors for the white cow – white (1), graphite grey
(28), light pink (18), beige (7); a small amount yellow yarn for the bell, a small amount
light green (11) for the collar.
Safety eyes 16 mm
Hook size – № 1.75 mm
Scissors
A needle for handmade sewing
Fiberfill or stuffing of your choice
A stitch marker to count the rounds (you can use a piece of contrast yarn)
Wire about 10 cm (D = 1/4 mm) for the tail
A small amount of band-aid
Blush and cotton swabs for applying shadows to the nostrils
