Original gift to a man is his portrait from photo on the matryoshka.
The work turned out to be interesting. The customer asked to draw a portrait matryoshka doll and after discussions he wrote that he would like a matryoshka doll in a jacket-suit in the Russian style. I noticed that if you need to draw a jacket, then this is a stylish classic in clothes, and if you want a traditional Russian style, then we draw like a traditional Russian shirt, sheepskin coat or kosovorotka. And I joked that if you draw a man in a jacket and in a traditional style, then we will have to paint this jacket under Khokhloma (traditional Russian folk painting).

The customer liked the idea). So we decided to make a gift bright, colorful, original and memorable.
A person loves things from the Soviet Era and taking pictures. This was embodied in the fact that he was painted with a vintage USSR camera. There was also a wish to depict him with a whip. Actually, that's what happened.
Since at the moment the young man is single, the rest of the dolls in the set (it was 7 pieces nested doll) remained unpainted, but were also presented to him. These dolls were planned to be painted in the future, when he gets married, when he has a family and children.

Made of linden wood, acrylic paints, glossy laquer.
