I associate preparations for the New Year holidays with the smell of cardboard boxes and wooden toys. Since childhood, I love wooden toys, their smell and tactile perception.
I didn’t have such soldiers, but they were in the kindergarten and I really liked to play with them. Maybe this primitive plot will remind someone else of good memories from childhood about New Year's Eve fuss.
