Set "Hippo" rattle/teether and mini toy are a great project for newborn and perfect gift for any baby.


The pattern requires basic crochet knowledge. You should be familiar with:
- Magic Ring /Adjustable ring
- Single Crochet
- Increasing (singe crochet 2 stitches in the same stitch)
- Decreasing (single crochet 2 stitches together)
- Slip Stitch
- Chain Stitch
- Treable Crochet

Materials:
• 2.5 mm hook
• Cotton yarn
(I used Schachenmayr Catania “Original”)
- Purple (399), white (106), burgundy (192)
• Black embroidery thread
• Safety eyes 8.00 and 6.00 mm
• Stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• Wood ring 70 mm

The size of the hippo holder is approximately 15-16 cm with ring. It may vary though depending on the kind of yarn and hook you size used.
