Diver's watch 191-chs. Legend of the Navy. New

In the 1950-60-ies Zlatoust plant, among other things, made for the Navy of the USSR watches model 191-ChS - for submariners.

Without exaggeration, it is a unique thing! The largest wristwatch in the world: diameter (excluding the crown) about 60 mm, weight 250 grams.

The powerful stainless steel case is the most difficult to manufacture, but it is fundamentally "unbreakable". Almost all Soviet divers worked in watches from Zlatoust.

The production of diving watches at ZChZ was curtailed in the first half of the 1970s, and gradually they went out of professional circulation, remaining mainly a legend.

The production of the 191-CS was later resumed. On the dial and back cover - abbreviation and symbols of the USSR Navy, there is a serial number.

The watch is accompanied by a "certificate" with the marks of OTK and stamp "Not Radioactive/No Radiation"; on the packing box inscriptions - "Order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR" and "Zlatousovsky Watch Factory".

The luminescence effect of the dial and hands was improved due to non-radioactive light-mass, another watch mechanism was installed, a new strap made of modern rubberized fabric was developed, some other changes were made.

The set of diving watches is accompanied by a natural leather strap handmade by a craftsman especially for this watch.

But still this watch is the prototype of the legendary diving watches of the USSR era - functional, waterproof, reliable.
