All questions regarding the project can be asked in direct instagram (@ta6urkin) or by e-mail ([email protected]

This is a digital product (there is no physical product) intended for the independent production of sheet metal products. You should be able to cut out parts on a CNC metal cutting machine or manually with a convenient cutting tool using a stencil (for example, a grinder). Also, you should be able to bend the parts on a bending machine or manually, at the end welding the parts together according to the instructions and, if desired, cleaning and painting the finished product. Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.

The Elephant involves the manufacture of steel with a thickness of 2 and 3 mm and a bending radius of 3 and 5 mm. The weight of the Elephant is about 455 kg. There are 98 parts in total (excluding fastening parts). The design documentation includes 82 pages, 73 of which are bending drawings. The instruction includes 64 pages in the order of assembly. The bend line is drawn along the cutouts in the part, in accordance with the drawing. The archive includes: dxf (91 pcs.- files separately and for a sheet 2400×1200, 2500×1250, 3000×1500), Drawings (82 pages), Instructions (64 pages). Overall dimensions of the sculpture (LxWxH): 4988х2375х4002 mm.

The tusks are unscrewable, the tusks are heavy, one tusk weighs about 16kg, screw it in with an assistant. For this project, a set of fasteners is required: Bolt M30x40 DIN 933 – 2 pcs, Bolt M16x30 DIN 933 – 4 pcs, Nut M30 DIN 934 – 2 pcs., Nut M16 DIN 934 – 4 pcs. The minimum strength class of fasteners is 8.8, the higher the strength class, the better. If you are going to fasten the elephant’s legs to a solid base, additional fasteners are needed.

Required material:

  • For 2400×1200 – 14 sheets 2mm and 1 sheet 3mm;
  • For 2500×1250 – 13 sheets 2mm and 1 sheet 3mm;
  • For 3000×1500 – 9 sheets 2mm and 1 sheet 3mm.

The project is available DXF with engraving and without engraving. Remember to set up the layers before cutting, otherwise the machine may cut the parts along the engraving line. The engraving layer is on the inside of the part, the bending in the drawings is indicated on the outside of the part. Cutting layer – “Cut”, engraving layer – “Engrav”.

The files you download are not intended for distribution (in any form, digital or printed), they are intended for you and your production. You have the right to manufacture and sell products created according to these drawings (only finished sculpture) in any quantities.

Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.

Thank you and good luck with your work!
