The story of the sword
In Norse Mythology, Einherjar (pronounced “ane-HAIR-yar”) are those who fought valiantly on the battlefield, but ultimately perished. The Valkyrie bring these mighty warriors to the gates of Valhalla to be a part of Odin’s elite army.
The full-tang sword I envision them using is this one. Made from Damascus Steel with 400-520 layers, a HRC of 58-60, and steel of 1095/15N20, this sword was forged for the mightiest of warriors and features standard sharpening. The intriguing wave-like pattern of Damascus gives this sword an even more fierce look, as if it needed any help.
The handle is wrapped in exquisite genuine leather. The hand guard and pommel are both made of pure brass, and the guard is etched with beautiful Norse engraving and the Pommel having the symbol Valknut, which is known as the slain warriors knot. Included is an expertly-crafted over the shoulder leather sheath that has two snap closures to keep your sword from moving or falling out when not in use. The Valknut symbol is also stamped on the sheath in gold
Remarks:
- It is a photograph taken from a catalogue. Since each blade is unique, you will get a sword that looks close to the one in the picture. The distinctiveness of the blades, however, may cause a minor variation in the handle wood's design

- The sword knives have already been honed, but you can still sharpen them to meet your needs.
