This light is awesome. I sometimes use it with the lights pointed up word for a greater a luminous effect. Other times when I'm just wanting a little light on the table while chit-chatting on the patio I face the light downwards.

Excellent purchase. Not only does it work great on the umbrella, but I can also use it at night to work outside. It lights up a very large area. I will be purchasing a few more for my shed and my attic.
