Leading Soviet chess players updated and enriched the theory and practice of chess art. The games and endings included in the book, according to the intention of the authors, should show a wide range of chess lovers the nature of the creativity of the leading representatives of the Soviet chess school. The unity of creative attitudes, of course, does not exclude the rich diversity of individual traits in the game of the best Soviet chess players. This is evidenced by the materials of the book.
