I love the beautiful grain pattern and color of this spoon, which makes it truly unique. The toolmarks also give it a more authentic look.

This cute eating spoon is hand carved from apricot wood with hand tools only. For its manufacture, I used: a hand saw to saw off the workpiece of the required length and make the necessary cuts; an ax to cut off everything superfluous (to make a blank for a spoon); knife for giving the final external shape of the spoon; and a hook knife or bent gouge, to cut out the inside of the bowl.

The spoon is treated with safe, food-grade linseed oil, so it is safe, water and food resistant, and easy to clean. You can use this spoon daily, it is perfect for this and will last you for years to come.
