MS 1630 with PTFE SOLID-RESISTANT LUBRICANT FOR CALIPER GUIDES 30 g
The new MC 1630 grease is excellent for lubricating caliper guides, including those with rubber bushings. Temperature and viscosity characteristics allow the lubricant to work in extreme conditions - from -50⁰ to +200⁰. MC 1630 protects against sticking, coking and drying of the guides, ensuring uniform pad wear and safe braking.
Does not affect the rubber bushings of the guides, prolonging their service life.
Fine particles of PTFE in the zones of contact interaction form a thin separating film, which, under certain conditions, can significantly reduce the coefficient of friction. And with insufficient lubrication, the resulting film is capable of separating the rubbing surfaces for some time. Due to the unique physical and chemical properties, PTFE is able to maintain its performance characteristics even when operating in aggressive environments over a wide temperature range.
Guide anthers are exposed to external influences; contact with reagents, contaminants, water. As a result, they are destroyed, change shape, elasticity and can no longer provide 100% protection for bushings and guides from rust, misalignment of pads and jamming.
Advantages
Resistant to water washout
Not coked
Does not cause deformation and destruction of rubber anthers
Protects rails from corrosion
Heat and frost resistant
