One of the world's most popular beer drink brands, Guinness is an Irish dry stout founded by Arthur Guinness in Dublin in 1759. The toucan was introduced to the company's marketing campaign in 1935 by the advertising firm S.H. Benson; the animals were dropped from Guinness adverts in 1982 when the company changed advertising agency.
