How to Use
• Remove weeds, gravel, and surface debris from the testing area and loosen compacted soil.
• If the soil is extremely dry, lightly moisten it and wait approximately 25–30 min. before testing.
• Clean the metal electrode with a damp cloth before inserting it vertically into the soil.
• Ensure the electrode has good contact with the surrounding soil and allow approximately 10 min. for the reading to settle.
• Press the side button to display the soil moisture reading.
• Take several readings in different areas and compare them when soil conditions vary.
• Clean and dry the electrode thoroughly after every use.
Important Care
• Do not force the probe into hard or heavily compacted soil.
• Do not leave the metal probe in soil for longer than 1 hr.
• Keep the metal electrode clean and dry before storage.
• Do not use the meter for testing liquids.
• Avoid touching the electrode with your fingers, as oils may affect readings.
• Keep the tester away from magnetic objects.
