*The collection includes the "Chess Game Textbook" by the great Cuban chess player, ex-world champion J.R. Capablanca and "My Chess Career" - an autobiography covering the period before the world championship match with Em. Lasker. In addition, the textbook includes such works by the grandmaster as "Fundamentals of the Chess Game" and "The Last Chess Lectures" delivered by Capablanca on the US radio in 1941. At the end of the book, 66 games are given, commented by the author.

*Jose Raul Capablanca y Graupera - Cuban chess player, chess writer, diplomat, 3rd world chess champion, one of the strongest chess players in the world in the 1910s - 1930s, winner of many international tournaments. During his heyday, Capablanca acquired the fame of a "chess machine", equally masterly leading the game in the middlegame and endgame, and almost never making mistakes.
