About this item
"The DIY No-Frills Bathtub Gin Kit - when you don't need the pretty box or test tubes or laminated recipes." You're the kind of person that just wants to make your Gin without having to buy a bunch of ingredients in quantities that will stay in your cupboard until you retire!
Plus, some of those ingredients are one-trick ponies (I see you Juniper Berries).
I buy in bulk so you don't have to, and I pass the savings (and some wisdom) on to you. What you see is what you get: One packet of Juniper Berries and one packet of Botanical herbs & spices.
You just need to provide the liquor that extracts that Aromatic goodness from the dry ingredients. You'll also need a pint jar to steep everything in, and a kitchen funnel & coffee filter to separate them when done.
It's that easy.
And you can save up to 25% when buying in bulk!
What's the recipe, you ask? It's based upon a local Gin that's my absolute fave. It's not cheap so I interviewed a bunch of people as to what flavors they tasted, looked up a billion Gin recipes, and made my list. I added quantities of each of the 11 ingredients to my own tastes and set about tweaking until I felt I'd reached the promised land.
And now you get to reap the benefits without all the work.
I provide easy-to-follow instructions, and a few ideas on ways to tweak the recipe to your taste.
Don't drink coffee so you don't have filters? Message me and I'll throw one in.
Why don't I make a "pretty" package with a small funnel, a jar, test tubes, etc. like everyone else? Because I'm a Computer Programmer and we like efficiency. You don't need a pretty package if you just want good-tasting gin. You probably already have a kitchen funnel & coffee filter. You definitely have a jar. And what will you do with those dainty test tubes when you're done?
It's just wasteful to me, so what I offer is what you really want, simplicity.
Dry Ingredients: Juniper Berries, Coriander Seed, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Cardamom, Cassia Bark, Star Anise, Fennel Seed, Clove, Crystallized Ginger, Nutmeg.
