In Norse folklore, both the Acorn and its bearer, the oak tree, bring good fortune. The Vikings associated oak trees with Thor, the god who created thunder and lightning with his great anvil and hammer. Because the tree attracted lightning, it was sacred to Thor. Thus they believed that the Acorn, the fruit of the oak tree, was always spared the god's wrath, and so they began putting a lone Acorn on their windowsills to protect their houses.

Solid and strong axe. The weight of head and a powerful blunt end provide very good penetrated characteristic which are important as for throwing, so for the camping using.

Hardness of the highcarbon steel (1566, G15660, 1066- USA, Ck67- Europe) 56-57 by Rockwell (HRC).
Zoning hardening.
It's more than enough to hew a hard kinds of wood.

Wood for handle- Ash or Beech tree.

It's hand-covered by the patina on natural basement and impregnated and covered by tung oil.
4 wedges and central spike. This type fixing increases the reliability of joint and provide the long period of comfort exploitation of the tool.
