In the winter of 2019/2020, our journey into the realm of DIY crafting began when my husband decided to build a CNC mill in our garage. His initial wood milling projects immediately captivated me, igniting a desire to explore my own creativity. After attempting to design my own projects and delving into countless online resources, it became apparent that we needed to broaden our horizons. I persuaded my husband to equip the CNC mill with an LED laser, and I embarked on my own experiments with this new tool. By Christmas 2020, I had crafted my first laser-cut holiday decorations and executed smaller projects to delight family and friends. Despite my enthusiasm, we quickly reached the limitations of the LED laser. This realization prompted us to upgrade our garage with a powerful 80W CO2 laser.
