VG10 Custom Damascus chef knife 9" Resin cast Brass core handle, Wangi handle kitchen knife w/ SS Damascus style

This is a custom designed 9" chef knife with a beautiful unique cast Brass handle. The hybrid chef knife is designed as a hybrid style between a Santoku and classic chef. The blade is extra wide at 58 mm or 2.25" as many chefs prefer. It's made of high quality 67 layer Damascus with a VG-10 steel core. With a HRC rating of 60-62 it can provide a much sharper, harder edge and stay sharp for up to 10x longer then an average stainless steel chef knife. The VG-10 core is clad in 67 layers of a stainless steel Damascus to protect it. The handle is bolted on with brass bushings and a stainless steel threaded rod as well as glued using a high quality epoxy. This knife also features a mosaic center pin.

*Please do not confuse my VG10 damascus chef knives with regular carbon damascus knives from Pakistan. The carbon damascus knives you may see in other shops are made of inferior steel and quickly lose their edge, rust and contaminate your food*

*Handle info*
A real Brass core is combined with resin available in almost any color. The brass in the handle is in its natural state and will patina slowly over time. The resin color chosen will represent the overall color of the handle >80%.

Every blade I produce is made with a unique specially selected handle. All of my handles are made of highly figured and exotic woods which I personally select and craft by hand. This knife is highly polished and finished with a durable natural polymerized oil.
