This pattern is suitable  for knitters of average level, but I thing that beginners will also find it not too difficult.  You should have the basic skills of knitting flat joining seaming the details. 
The patterns includes pictures with step-by-step instructions 

THIS IS A DIGITAL PATTERN, NOT A READYMADE TOY. MATERIALS NOT INCLUDED.

FINISHED SIZE : approximately 22 cm/  8 inch in sitting position

MATERIALS:
NEEDLES :  3,25 -3,5 mm needles 
Toy filling for stuffing 
Two safety toy eyes 15-16 mm 
You will also require stitch markers 
You will also require locking type stitch markers plus large safety pins or stitch holders for holding stitches when not in use

YARN:
Any yarn type or shade can be used for this pattern. Keep in mind the finished size may be altered with different yarn types. Recommended characteristics 180-220 m/100g (197-240 yard/100g).
If you use the yarn with different characteristics, please choose the proper size of your needles

•    Cast on, cast off
•    knit and purl
•    kfb, pfb, m1
•    k2tog, skpo, k3tog
•    mattress sew
•    pick up sts
