Main parts of the toy are knitted IN ROUNDs. Wings and ears are knitted flat.
FINISHED SIZE of the toy is approximately 13.5 cm/ 5.31 inch long - from head to tows.
This pattern is quite easy and fast. It fits the beginners if you have the basic skills of knitting in rounds. But it also can be interesting for the average level knitters. I really love the way the wings are designed, they look very interesting. And the bat itself can bee sweet like a cartoon character or very realistic if you choose the natural shades of yarn and making up.
English and Russian language.
MATERIALS:
A set of 3.25 – 3.5 mm double pointed needles (sock needles)
crochet hook (for casting on and attaching the hair)
Toy filling for stuffing,
Toy eyes or beads 6-10 mm
You will also require some stitch markers
Knitting needle for sewing the details
YARN:
ALIZE Classic; ( 200 m/100gr / 25% mohair / 24% wool / 51% acrylic )
NOTE: You may use any other yarn you want of any other shades, it can be wool, mohair, cotton etc., but it should be 200-250 m/100g (218-273 yard/100g) in order to fit the finished size.

• mattress sew
