Cassettes - I really like them, they have Clarion internals and very high performance. The head is "blue", about 30-20000 Hz. No worse than the top-of-the-line cassette decks.
Chrome or metal cassettes recorded on quality vinyl decks in the car play great, I listened and was delighted. Exactly for vinyl - full analog sound. Doesn't strain the brain all the way like digital does. Nice to listen to, velvet sound.
