I recommend to use light color 32 - 56 ct linen/cotton evenweave fabrics (NOT AIDA) for this pattern.

- backstitching (much!), half cross stitches(besides full cross stitches)
- 30 basic DMC colors, 3 blended colors

PDF file includes pattern key for DMC floss and 4 types of pattern: black&white symbols with backstitch lines, black&white symbols without backstitch lines; symbols with color behind and solid color - both with backstitch lines. You can use one or use them all.
