Peter Brueghel. Reproduction from a painting of the 16th century.

Brueghel reflects on human vices and the frailty of human life. The painting depicts a young evil dwarf stealing a purse from a gloomy old man. The dwarf is inscribed in a sphere with a cross — this is a symbolic image of a vicious world. The old man's hands are folded in a prayer gesture, which should testify to the pious character of the character. However, piety turns out to be hypocritical: behind, a tightly stuffed red heart-shaped purse sticks out from under a long black cloak. Perhaps here Brueghel relies on the maxim "Where the purse is, there is the heart", which goes back to the Gospel text.

We have 4 types of printing materials:

Handmade paper.

An absolutely unique product. Thick and dense paper (350 mg) with uneven edges. Not completely white, has natural beige shades. The print on this paper has a rather antique look and muted colors. Prints with an antique background look especially authentic on this paper.

Linen canvas.

Dense (300 - 400 mg), beautiful and natural material with a slight shine. Prints on canvas have a bright and clear color rendition.

Art matte paper.

Very thick paper ~ 1mm. Can be used without frame. Excellent color rendition.
Plywood.

We print on birch plywood with a thickness of 4 - 6 mm. Prints on plywood convey the image and color very accurately. These prints do not require a frame and are ready to hang as they have a hook on the back. The big advantage is that it is not susceptible to moisture; it can be hung in damp areas.

Frame is not included.

Posters are sent to you in a solid cardboard envelope and with a sticker "Do not bend", as well as in a plastic bag, which allows you to protect prints from deformation and leaks during the journey! Also, posters on canvas can be sent in a tube, which also protect the prints from damage.
