Plantain extract. Regulates gastric secretion, normalizes cholesterol/healing of ulcers

Plantain extract is a biologically active food supplement (BAA) that regulates gastric secretion, namely: it activates it during hyposecretion, and reduces it during hypersecretion. Normalizes the content of cholesterol, b-lipoproteins, total lipids; normalizes the ratio of phospholipids / cholesterol.
Compound. BAD Plantain extract contains: polysaccharides, mucus, aucubin glycoside, flavonoids, vitamins K and C, tannins, bitterness, carotene, choline, steroid saponins, phytoncides and mineral salts.
Properties:
• Plantain extract has expectorant and emollient properties, promotes sputum thinning;
• regulates gastric secretion;
• inhibits the growth of pathogenic staphylococcus and delays the growth of hemolytic streptococcus;
• has some sedative effect, lowers blood pressure;
• locally with wounds and ulcers accelerates healing, has a hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect.
Indications for use. When taken orally, psyllium extract is recommended for the prevention and enhancement of drug therapy:
• inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, rhinitis);
• inflammatory diseases of the mucous membrane of the stomach, intestines (gastritis, gastroduodenitis, enteritis, enterocolitis, colitis);
• peptic ulcer of the stomach, duodenum;
• to prevent the development of erosive and ulcerative complications of the gastrointestinal tract against the background of parasitic, infectious diseases - opisthorchiasis, giardiasis, ascariasis, influenza (gastrointestinal form);
• inflammatory diseases of the bronchial tree - for the purpose of sanitation (chronic and acute bronchitis, tracheitis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis).
When applied externally, psyllium extract is recommended for the prevention and enhancement of drug therapy:
• damage to the skin, mucous membranes; small burns, trophic ulcers (as a hemostatic, bactericidal agent);
• infectious diseases of the skin (dermatitis of various origins, erysipelas, infected wounds, wet eczema);
• lesions of the mucous membranes of infectious genesis (acute and chronic rhinitis, otitis media);
• periodontal disease, increased bleeding gums, thrush in children, toothache;
• boils, seborrhea, carbuncles, felons.
Contraindications: individual intolerance to the components.
Recommendations for use. Inside, take 0.5 teaspoon of psyllium extract, dissolved in 100 ml of water, 3 times a day before meals. For external use (for dressings and treatment of mucous membranes): dissolve 1 teaspoon of the extract in 250 ml of chilled boiled water. The bandage with solution should be changed 2-3 times a day.
Storage conditions: store in a cool dry place. Shelf life - 1 year.
Release form: 75 ml of extract in a plastic package.
