GODDESS OF MORANA

 Morana is the goddess of Death, disease, cold, winter, evil, night, darkness, black witchcraft, anger.
  ⠀
  She belongs to one of the most controversial goddesses in Slavic mythology.  Consider the queen cold, dark nights and winter.  She believed that the goddess is the patroness of witchcraft, a cemetery mistress.
  ⠀
  Ara Mara was a very beautiful goddess, with pale skin and black beautiful eyes.  The hair is dark and long.  The clothes are white, as if made of ice.
  At the end of winter, the goddess takes on the appearance of a decrepit old woman in black robes.
  It was turned into Shrovetide.  It is exactly in the form of Shrovetide that they burn on a fire at the end of winter.

  She was considered fair that she could save the crop, but was often accused of frost.  She was also shocked by the magic and the sorcerer, who were also negative in her image.  The goddess favors the brave and purposeful - help in achieving success.

 Morana is associated with diseases and their healing.  To seasonal winter diseases.  Also, this goddess is able to stop (freeze) any process.  When Morina was asked to stop it.
