This remarkable cast is a reconstruction of early hominids, dubbed Cro-Magnon man. The age of the original is 20-30 thousand years. This skull belonged to a representative of the early form of the modern species Homo sapiens sapiens of the Ice Age of the Upper Paleolithic. Primitive man (Upper Paleolithic era). Found in the Weseretal cave in southern France. Date of discovery: 1868, Age 20-30 thousand years.
