These really do stretch - a lot - and even covered a bowl with an asymmetric edge. It took a minute to figure out I was trying to put the cover on - had to turn it inside out, but it held fast. Then it came off easily, went into the dishwasher, dried in the rack quickly and doesn’t take up much space in the drawer where my plastic bags USED TO go. Another set will be needed. Great gifts, too!
