Bought it for my room mate as she has a lot of pain in her lower back. Feels a little strange at first sitting in that position but after using it for awhile she claims that it has helped her back. The cushion is great ,if your Derriere and coccyx, are tender and sore . But also ,I found the cushion ,supports and comforts ,my lower back ,by placing it open at the back of my chair , so two uses , for one buy , serendipity good .
