I just got mine today and it is exactly like the video I saw about this product. After washing it out with warm, soapy water and rinsing, I put all my salad fixings in the bowl and got out my large knife. I works! I'm glad I purchased two of them because I'm going to take one to work to keep in my office so I can have salad for lunch that is freshly chopped!

I appreciated this as a 'toy' and unnecessary item in my kitchen, but fun to have. Then, today, I decided I would try it a different way, and it WORKED. I had a rotisserie chicken that I cooked and deboned. Then I put all the pieces in the bowl, and turned it upside down on the bottom, and sliced thro with a knife, - turning it and slicing thro again. VIOLA................chicken ready for the chicken stock and my soup all in perfect pieces without any mess......I had plastic gloves on so didn't even get messy. Thanks!!!!
