I am a retired architect, we had a huge lighting table years back, of course today the majority of an architect work is done with CAD. But there is nothing like doing quick sketches for first design, and make the design evoluate rapidly with sketches one on top of the other. I said that I have retired...but i still do some special design from people who are refered to me. ps: usualy I writhe in french...

I can understand your eagerness to know what I think of the artist tracing table I ordered but I’m involved in outdoor activities at present and in fact just opened the package last night. I can comment on how well it was prepared for mailing and that I appreciated the updates on it’s eventual delivery. I’ve plugged it in, tested the three levels of brightness, and tried several different density’s of paper. I like that it is so lightweight but at the same time feel I must take extra precautions that it doesn’t get damaged. I plan to keep it in a laptop carrier when not in use or traveling. It is also convenient that I can use my phone charger to power it. At this point I feel it will work well for me.

This light board is so lightweight and plugs in to a phone charger (yeah!). It works easily with three light settings and the packaging is so good, I’m going to use it to make a carrying bag to protect it as I travel! Thanks!

I have attached a photo of my Copy Board being powered by a cellphone charge battery, which makes the Copy Board portable; use a computer USB, wall plug USB. Easy to use and has three bright levels.

The tracing table took a long time to arrive but it was worth it. It was beautifully packed and in fact the "long bubble" bubble wrap is perfect protection in my studio. I taped it around my tracer and can easily slide it in and out. I am amazed at how thin and lightweight the tracer is. It gets very bright and now I don't have to wait for a bright day to trace at the window.

As a portrait artist, this will be perfect for getting the features of a photo in the right place. Then i'll do the rest by hand since I don't like my drawings to look traced or copied. I never could learn to draw using conventional methods because of eye problems. I'm sure this light board will be of great help. It's inexpensive, thin and light weight. The delivery took some time, but it was worth the wait. I highly recommend it to anyone who like to draw.
