Came as ordered in excellent special bubble wrap made for breakable items like this mug. The order was fulfilled with the correct item, and it is of good quality. The mug is a bit small, so I think it will not be easily used a a drinking mug (not enough room for a man's fingers in the handle area). However, he might enjoy it as a pen/pencil mug on his study desk! In any case, I like the item's design uniqueness and believe it will be enjoyed.
