I love it, but I'm not using the covers with the holes because they shoot too high and spill out of the bird bath and I'm worried that I'll run out of water and ruin the pump. My bird bath is not small, it looks the same size as your picture. I'm just letting the water come out of the spout.

The fountain started working the minute the sun hit it. It doesn't work unless the sun is on it, so not at night and not in overcast weather. I wish it would attach to the bottom of the birdbath rather than floating around. I'm concerned the birds won't like it if it hits them while it's floating and they are bathing. Overall, I like it.

We've had this two days and we are actually surprised at how well it works. Waited anxiously to see when our birds would discover how much fun they could have splashing away. We hoped the Hummingbirds would realized that it was a new attraction in our yard, but the Finches have take 'ownership'. We had some wind so changed the head to the spray would stay within the bowl. Wish I had purchased two, one for us and one for our nature loving daughter. We are HAPPY customers!
