I have original wooden floors . In my hallway I have a thick wool rug with a protective liner on the bottom of the rug. The liner is never align with the rug and it’s a pain having to adjust it constantly. This item is fitted perfect and the rug stays in place . So far my wood floor no damage . Highly recommend.

This works very well to keep the corner of the rug down on the floor.

Very innovative gadget. It works as it claims and saves an outlet for the nightlight. Seems to be pretty bright too. I have installed in the hallway and it's great. I had it installed my daughter's room as well but had to uninstall it because it was too bright for her. Overall, I would recommend it.

Love the light I use them for night lights

We did have enough power outlets for the electronic components we had so using a space for a night light didn’t make a lot sense. Now we have use of all of our power outlets and exceptional night lighting. The Lux Light Sensor Outlets took less than 10 minutes to install and that included the time to switch off the breaker!

Sensors are maybe too sensitive, the light is off in this room. But light from edge of curtained window must be enough. It came on when I held camera in lights path. Very good product.
