Peter the Caterpillar

This pattern was inspired by a lovely children's story called Peter the Caterpillar written by talented Georgia Lohan over at Rafael the Unicorn.

Peter is made using Stylecraft Special DK 100g and a 3.5 mm hook.

Materials Needed Yarn A: Meadow (green) - 1 ball  Yarn B: Gold (yellow) - 1 ball  You will need a small amount of brown and white to make the eyes and a contrasting yarn to stitch the nose and mouth. I used teal yarn for the nose and mouth but you could use brown, pink or black if you prefer.

Hook: 3.5 mm  Toy Stuffing  Stitch Marker  Sewing Needle  Scissors

The pattern is written using UK crochet terminology and includes a UK to US terminology conversion chart.

The pattern has detailed written instructions and I have provided as many photos as possible as a guide to help you crochet and assemble your caterpillar.
