This is a DIY-kit of templates for a paper 3D model of the Five-pointed Star using weaving technology. This item can be a wonderful gift, or as an addition to the interior to create a festive atmosphere.

Basic size of finished model is:

– height: 21.5 cm / 8.5 in
– width: 22.5 cm / 8.9 in
– depth: 6.0 cm / 2.4 in

This product is for a digital instant downloading, and contained:

– templates in PDF-file (only drawing lines with no color or textures);

– templates in DXF-file (if you will to use a cutting machine);

– step-by-step illustrated instructions of how to build this model.

Equipment you need:

– A4/A3 Printer B&W or color for printing templates;

– two sheets (one sheet for each color) of the color paper with weight 160-270 g/m2 (for one sided color paper: you need to print on non-colored side). Note: This number of sheets is necessary if you want to get a model at a basic scale. If you are planning to build a model on a custom scale, please see the template file labeled as “forcustomscaling”;

– ruler for folding;

– scissors, stationery knife together with a metal ruler;

– ballpoint pens for punching folding lines;

– glue for attaching parts, we recommend to use a non-water based glue to prevent deformation of the surfaces by moisture;

– tweezers, we strongly recommend using tweezers to glue small parts;

– small clothespin (optional), for gluing several knots at the same time, that speed up the assembling process.

Note: But if you are planning to build a model on a custom scale, please see the template file labeled as “forcustomscaling”.

This model can be assembled by anyone, just need only a little patience and following the instructions.
