You will need two AA batteries to operate the lighting (not included due to air shipping restrictions). The stool and library ladder are loose so you can position them however you like. The product is always carefully and securely packaged for delivery.

Please note that handicrafts are inherently flawed, which is what makes them so unique. Despite extreme care in the work, there are inconsistencies based on the creative nature, and therefore each bookshelf nook will look a little different than the next.
