History of this Sword

There is an exact high quality replica of the Glamdring Sword. This sword was once carried by Gandalf the Grey, a legendary wizard and friend to Frodo Baggins. He was an old, but powerful wizard for many centuries. In the presence of an enemy, Glamdring, a magical sword, glows in the presence of any enemy, and it serves Gandalf in his mission to help the Fellowship of the Ring in their fight. There is an inscription on the sword that says it was forged by ancient Elves and it is inscribed with runes in the Elven language which refer to the sword being made for Turgon, the King of Gondolin.

Glamdring was a sword, said to have belonged to Turgon, but best known as the weapon of Gandalf during the War of the Ring. It was known in Westron as the Foe-hammer, and Orcs knew it as Beater.
