There is a story claiming that Sir Henry Percy, an English rebel who led the uprising against King Henry IV, was called Hotspur by his Scottish enemies due to the manner in which he led the uprising. The reason for this is that he patrolled the borders between England and Scotland diligently, and he did so with great diligence.
The massive mushroom pommel of this sword stands up to its honor. The two-handed hilt comes wrapped in genuine leather. Measuring an extraordinary 15.25 inches, the guard is made of carbon steel. Equally impressive is the EN45 carbon steel, spring blade measuring at 43 inches! This sword comes full tang and battle ready. You can customize the blunt edge to your own specifications.
