Ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - a sufficient amount to obtain 1000 ml of tincture

Pharmacodynamics
Stimulates the central nervous system, has a general tonic, hypertensive and hypoglycemic effect: improves appetite, increases blood pressure, mental and physical performance; stimulates sexual function; reduces general weakness, increased fatigue, drowsiness; lowers cholesterol and blood sugar levels; activates the activity of the adrenal cortex.
Pharmacological activity is due to the content of triterpene glycosides (panaxosides, panaquilon, panaxin), essential and fatty oils, pectins, vitamins, micro and macro elements, as well as phytoestrogens and daukosterol.
Indications
Arterial hypotension (low blood pressure), asthenic syndrome, physical and mental fatigue, neurasthenic syndrome, convalescence after long-term and severe, including infectious, diseases, neuro-circulatory dystonia of the hypotonic type, in complex therapy with weakened sexual function on ground of neurasthenia.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, arterial hypertension (high blood pressure), irritability, epilepsy, convulsive conditions, sleep disorders, acute infectious diseases, bleeding, chronic liver disease, pregnancy, lactation, children's age (up to 12 years).
Dosage and administration
Inside 30-40 minutes before meals, 15-20 drops 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 30-40 days. The expediency of a second course is determined by the doctor.

Allergic reactions, tachycardia, headache, sleep disturbances, increased blood pressure and hypoglycemia
drug interaction
Enhances the effect of psychostimulants and analeptics (including caffeine, camphor, etc.). Shows antagonism when interacting with drugs that depress the central nervous system (antiepileptic drugs, antipsychotics, tranquilizers and sedatives). Enhances the effect of hypoglycemic drugs. Enhances the effect of warfarin. Increases the risk of developing resistance to loop diuretics.
special instructions
In order to avoid sleep disturbances, ginseng preparations are not recommended for use in the afternoon.
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular diseases, with diabetes mellitus.
Ginseng has a clearly expressed seasonality of action: application in autumn and winter is most effective.
